IBNB at WebSummit in Rio
Following Web Summit Rio 2025, one of the largest tech conferences in Latin America attended by over 34,000 people, the IBNB hosted an exclusive social and networking event that brought together entrepreneurs, investors, and professionals with strong ties between Ireland and Brazil. The gathering served as a relaxed yet strategic moment to connect, collaborate, and cultivate lasting business relationships beyond the main conference agenda.
Held at TETO Bar e Cozinha in Rio, the evening fostered a warm, informal atmosphere that celebrated shared innovation, culture, and enterprise. Irish and Brazilian attendees, along with international guests, exchanged insights on emerging market opportunities, digital transformation, and Ireland’s growing role as a tech and investment hub with global reach. The event was well attended with some 20 people present.

As the Irish flag stood alongside Brazilian hospitality, the event reaffirmed the value of deepening bilateral connections—not just in business, but through community. Attendees also expressed strong interest in continuing the momentum with future events focused on trade, sustainability, and tech partnerships.
Looking ahead, the IBNB is exploring ways to expand its presence with thematic meetups, sector-specific roundtables, and cross-cultural panels, building a vibrant bridge between Irish innovation and Brazilian opportunity.

For those interested in being part of future initiatives, the IBNB invites new members and collaborators to join the conversation, linking two nations, one connection at a time.
This gathering followed our first meetup of the year in São Paulo back in March, and we’re already looking ahead to the next one.
